Tis' the season to be jolly! This time of year there's allot of despair, loneliness, sorrow and depression. Single parents raising their children living on low income, can hardly make ends meet year round. Then Christmas comes and some of those same single parents are struggling to make sure their families have holiday cheer.

Dallas Mavericks, forward, Shawn Marion knows first hand what it is like being raised by a single mom. He recalls one time for Christmas receiving a pair of pants and socks. No toys, just a couple pieces of clothing.
For the past six years, Marion have blessed others during Christmas. On Christmas eve, Shawn, will choose ten single moms across the metroplex and personally deliver Christmas gifts. He has learned that most families are really in need of items like toilet paper, toothpaste, soap....toiletries.
So on Christmas eve, Dallas Mavericks Shawn Marion will personally make ten families holiday wishes come true if not the very least provide them with what their family needs.

Former Dallas Maverick guard SteveNash toook a hard hit from Mavs center Tyson Chandler in the first quarter of the game Mavericks versus the Phoenix Suns. During a rebound possession that was lost in the mix up between Chandler and Nash, it appears from the reruns that Nash was hit by the hip of Chandler.

Nash had to go out and cbe treated. No on Steve Nash injury yet. He was on the floor a few minutes constantly working out his motor skills which is a positive sign that he has no neurological injury. More on Suns guard Steve Nash as updates become available.

Tyson Chandler, American Idol? Huh?!

The best center ever in Mavs history sang a couple of notes on ESPN radio. Tyson Chandler belted out a couple of tunes from one of his favorite Michael McDonald songs at the request of Ben and Skin radio show.

From what I heard over the radio lines, I could not tell if he was any good or not. For one reason , he called in to the show and as always it is very hard to tell just how well his vocals were. "Really?!". "I thought I sounded pretty good".
However, Chandler really thinks he can sing. " I'll be the next 7'1 American Idol", he says. I told him to keep his day job.
