Mavs newest addition to the center spot..

Welcome to Dallas, Tyson! That's right, the Mavs new big man is Tyson Chandler, handsome huh, ladies. Chandler, a welcome addition to the Mavericks center spot, the number 5. Acquired by the Mavs from team Charlotte Bobcats aka the Charlotte Hornets (why the name change? who knows why) in a deal package including Erick Dampier, whom I assume is relaxing his knee
(riding the bench), enjoying his family and watching other teams play. "I love him", says Carlise, The guy is, he really had an infectious spirit as a person and a basketball player. He really brings some toughness to our team, particularly our starters because he brings a dynamic athleticism that we haven't had here at that position. Having said that, I thought Haywood did a really good job off the bench. He is being asked to take on a different role than he has ever had. He is out there playing against small lineups and all kinds of weird things and I thought he gave us a presence when Tyson was not in the game".

Chandler and Haywood gives the Mavericks two decent threats in the middle....if both players receive ample minutes along with game consistency, the Mavericks will become a dominated threat in the middle. Yep, indeed.

The big men must be aggressive underneath the basket and grab both offensive and defense boards, they need to develop a lust for it...Defense and offensive win games. Makes no sense to me why these players can not follow their dag gone rebounds!! The Mavericks have always lack in this area and free throw shots.....stay tuned for more..

Mavericks win home opener against the Bobcats

Mavericks started the 2010-11 NBA season, by winning the opener against the Charlotte Bobcats. Fans may see Mavericks forward, Caron Butler have more good scoring games. He appears to be more settle with his teammates versus last season when he was literally thrown in after being acquired last season during the All-Star break from the Washington Wizards.

Butler earned Most Valuable Player in the pre-season game against the Houston Rockets scoring 25 points! Having the chance to bond with his teammates over the summer, summer league workouts as well as training camp, Butler started the season lighter in weight and in sinc with the team. I believe this season with the Mavs fans will see why Butler was acquired.

Yao Ming is Baack!

Yao Ming was in the Rockets starting lineup against the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center in their last preseason home game. the Mavericks won in a shocking finished with .04 seconds left. Jason Kidd inbounded the ball made the pass to the Matrix as the clock wound down for the ally-op layup, Dallas wins the game. An ugly win with an exciting finish!

That's what the fans want to see!! Pass from Kidd to Marion left the Rockets mouth dropped wide open as if to say what just happen? Why? Because the Rockets lead the game all 4 quarters even after the two minute warning. Then, Nowitzki entered the game being the scorer that he is....did his thang, contributing to the win.

THE RANGERS WIN!!!! Going to the MLB World Series!

By Katrina King

What a year for the Texas Rangers! Who wuold have thought during spring training that the Texas Rangers would be in the World Series, huh? Not me, that's for sure. The Rangers beat the New York Yankees 6-1 to win on Friday night at The Ball Park. 50 years in Rangers history this is truly the first. Team owner and president Nolan Ryan played and retired in a Rangers uniform pitching for the same purpose. But it wasn't his time with the Rangers.

Funny....now team owner Ryan, finally get a chance to go to the World Series with his life sport and his ball club he now owns.. How cool is that?!

Manager, Ron Washington has done well with his ballclub. The guys have great chemistry and camaraderie among one another which mix for a great recipe of great team work as they have shown all season. Washington says in an interview after the game: I'm not gonna change what, I've been preachin'". He goes on to say: I love playing National League Baseball".
